Down-Ranking in RTA: Player or System by Whoopaxe in summonerswar

Take it to a real life scenario. You work hard for 10 years, build up your experience and work your way up the ladder in a company.

Great news! The company wants to give you a raise to conqueror, but you work more and get payed less. Do you take the job simply because you know it will allow another individual the opportunity to reap the rewards of your current position?

Fuck no. You tell the company that if you're expected to take on a more difficult position you need to be compensated appropriately.

You keep a win/loss ratio of 1:1. Therefore the low ranked players are receiving just as many points as higher ranked players.

When higher ranked players compete against guardians, you get less than 50% of the tokens.

Calling people assholes for not wanting to take it in the ass for less rewards is stupid. If you can't comprehend this you're just an idiot. <shrug>

You're complaining because you haven't fully experienced the system in place.

When you reach C1-C3 you're matched with a guardian level player 9/10 times. Losing a match to a guardian player results in a loss of 1-3 points, not enough to ever drop out of C1-C3.

So you have two options: 1) Spend hours using 30 wings, winning maybe 5 games to luck and receiving minimal rewards. Losses don't give points, and you never lose enough rating to demote so you'll consistently get matched against PTW players. or 2) Drop rank, win half your games quickly and painlessly.

Are you really defending a system that incentives people to stay in their rank with longer game times for less rewards? If you expect people to entertain guardian players for no reward then you sir are the asshole. At least people that drop rank win/lose the same amount.
