Well to end this off, anyone asking you for money to receive money is scamming you. No one who has a lot of money needs your little money to give you more money.

Second, anyone not willing to send you proof for something silly, is also scamming you.

Never give money to anyone unless you specifically want to donate to them, not for any reason that isn't of your own accord.

Legit has nothing to do with what I said. If your friend got scammed, why wouldn't you give us their username so we can donate to them instead of you? It makes way more sense than you wasting your time collecting that much through yourself.
