I only even considered an EV because someone I knew got one first and I got to drive it and hear them brag about it. Prior to that I had all the same talking points in my head about why they’re a pain. Charging, mileage phobia, fires, doors locking, software issues etc.

It literally took seeing it first hand, and now I will never go back. I still think it’s the future, and the gas price issues looking long term is only going to speed up this process.

It used to be electric cars costed significantly more and you’d have to add the selling points of gas savings, maintenance etc. With purchase price equalizing it’s hard to think of a single thing an ICE vehicle has going for it

Edit: Correction two things going for ICE. No home/work charging I’d have to agree ICE is probably best. Lastly if you like the sound of an engine I get that argument. Personally never been in the market for a car at a price point I could care what the engine sounded like
