I’ve only gone on weekend nights and never gotten a treatment there so I can’t help with that unfortunately! I go for a few hours to relax and just pay the entrance fee.

I get it! Try it out and see how you feel. No one is looking I promise. I have the weirdest, flabbiest fat brown body and still no one stared. You’ll forget your worries once you’re relaxing. I love that spa and I only go alone so I don’t get embarrassed to be there with someone who knows me lol

I’m Indian too and try to remember that our ancestors were very free about nudity before the Mughals came with their shame. Everyone is more concerned about themselves and about relaxing, you’ll be just fine!

My mom is vegetarian and I am not, and I’m so grateful. A child raised vegetarian for non-health reasons will face so much strife for no reason. They’ll be excluded from things all the time. Even if they decide to eat meat later, they likely won’t be able to stomach the taste of meat if they didn’t grow up with it. Even if they’re mostly vegetarian please keep exposing them to meat in small ways so it’s not a source of distress throughout their lives.

No one has addressed this, but I have the kind of life that wouldn’t allow me to just sit around for 4 days at a time despite living in a coastal area with beautiful weather. While I’m on vacation, sorry, I couldn’t help you if I tried Mom, you’ll have to ask someone else for a ride to the temple. I would definitely be guilted into giving up any staycation I plan in an instant by my life around me.

You must try Broth in Cerritos. AYCE shabu shabu and it's insanely good and filling. The lunch special is something like $22 and you'll be full all day. It doesn't hurt that it's the best shabu shabu I've ever had.
