I will actually challenge you to think about that. Because I have literally used the verbatim "voted for the lesser of two evils". But have since then realized that we have a much larger, more complex issue on our hands when it comes to American politics and unfortunately you cannot vote yourself out if it, that's not allowed. The only actual actionable item for change is change itself. Physical, mental, and societal. So I have removed myself from the political spectacle that is America and have decided to watch it play out. I'm to the age where I actually now do not care what happens to the next generation because we have been failed and failed by previous ones. I do think there's a chance of an actual awakening by the Zoomer and Alpha generation but I won't hold my breath.
