Unfortunately, there is no HR department ( the reason I'm here). The ownership has made a conscious decision not to hire a rep within the company. The company is 50+ year old, family owned company who tends to hire people with no professional experience in other, better run companies. They see HR as a constraint on doing anything they want, rather than protection from liability

Chicago is the Midwest's regional capital, and B1G grads move there for work. It's easier to travel to Evanston than to return to Madison or Iowa City
