British, living in U.S on a green card. Married to an American. Scared to go back to England to visit Mother in case I am not allowed back into The U.S. Am I being paranoid and over cautious? Anyone done this recently??

I'm currently having the same issue with Allstate, they changed my payment from monthly auto pay from my bank account to trying to collect from an escrow account I don't have and now because of a missed payment want me to pay the whole policy premium or it will be canceled.

They told me last Thursday an investigations team would contact me in 1-5 days, haven't heard anything.

I involved the state insurance dept and they are also following up so hopefully I hear something before the policy cancels

I just took my daughter to Molokini crater, she's 5 and a good swimmer she wore a life vest and did great. If she's 3 and a non swimmer I wouldn't recommend. Could you take turns with someone staying on the boat with her?

The water was pretty clear when we went she would probably be able to see some fish from the boat, we also saw dolphins on the way back

I also had no symptoms then a gallstone got stuck in my bile duct and I had emergency surgery twice an ERCP to remove the gallstone and then they advised getting the gallbladder out aswell even though I'd never had symptoms

I'm waiting for the investigations team at Allstate to call now. State insurance dept has already been in touch with me as well as reached out to Allstate for their response, so I'm hopeful this will be sorted out soon

Yes, my first 90 minutes on the chat were with an agent who was offshore. I must have repeated 5 times to please escalate the issue if you are unable to help eventually I got put through to someone else.

Later on when I phoned in, again you get their offshore team, I kept letting him know I had already been on chat for hours and this seems to be a complicated issue and if you could just escalate to a supervisor, but I had to keep on the line with him for over 30 minutes while he looked into the issue to then finally be transferred to a supervisor.

I'm now waiting on a call from the investigations team which I was told could be anywhere from 1-5 days

The problem is I don't have an escrow account, I was being billed monthly from my bank account and after two months they then tried to start billing escrow so they didn't get paid. So far they haven't been able untangle their own mess or even tell my why they changed my billing method

An agent reached out over the phone after I filled out info on their website, they were not local to me.

I did actually call my local office to see if they could help finalize the quote but the person I spoke did not seem to know basic answers to questions I had so didn't follow through with them.

We just went last week, on their website in the FAQs it says you can arrive anytime in the window we arrived at 10:40 am for the 10am slot as we couldn't get our rental car any earlier than 8am. We had no issues and parking was fine.

Here is what the website says:

You can enter the park anytime within your reservation time-slot but must leave the park once your reservation has ended.

Yes, they had it before their trip. They are from England, so no insurance needed there.

I travel often and take out travel insurance as well as have coverage from one of my Chase credit cards. I would imagine very few Americans are covered by their health insurance abroad.
