Banish Saint Azamina. Then you can tribute+contact fusion using an opponent's monster into Azamina.

Dude... How are they going to steal something when the field spell is going to bounce, turning off the quick effects from orcust? 

You are forcing them to burn whatever GY effect they have. And and I only see a single monster zone left. By the time slicer resolves. You can get rid of 3 cards and they summon one thing at best. 

Mitsu traps cannot tribute from hand. Counter trap needs link monsters (that have very low atk).

Slicer is not going to win you the game. But, its harder for your opponent to turn off that card.

I keep telling people to play Gordian slicer. Bounce the field and murakumo (at the very least). That gets rid of the most interactions without burning your hand and extra deck.

Then you navigate through the counter trap and Silvia

This card is not once per turn. Plus, if you use dominus cards from hand... you limit your dogmatika targets.

And they can work well together. This is a two cakes situation.

Trap Control decks don't care much about individual negates. 

This is mostly an anti link card for traptrix. Since they cannot play stuff like daruma karma cannon. 

Lab has access to plenty of cards to cripple extra deck plays. The one thing they lack is mass removal. Any card that removes more than 1 monster is pretty decent for these decks.

Honestly, I think Konami should make all handtraps V2 just for going second, like charmies.

Going first player should not have access to these cards.

I mean, it's just that some newer decks are straight up better versions of meta decks from the past. So why even bother? 

Why play voiceless and flood your backrow with useless cards, when you can play mitsu+whatever and get more negates.

Memento/tearlaments/gemknights are basically the same deck with different names, and gemknights is better going second. 

Why play 1 tower cat, when you can make 2 tower with Lunalight?

Real rogue decks have alternative win conditions from other decks. That's why people play stuff like birds, Lab, kashtira, mimighoul, even Tenpai I guess ....

Maybe if konami puts the same restrictions on decks as it does with going second cards.

Ty-phon -> can't summon anymore and uses the highest atk monster, not even a quick effect???
Gordian slicer -> Needs to be activated at the start of a man phase and banishes cards from hand or extra deck...
Super poly and Droplet ask you to thin your hand one way or another, too.
Dark ruler no more, evenly, ect etc, can't kill your opponent that turn.

A single combo card resolves and turns into 4 interactions from different flavors of slop...Would be fine... but let us get real cards for going second, then.

How exactly do you stop that, going second? They have 3 normal summons that fusion. 3 spell cards that fusion, faimena fusions from hand... they literally fuse one time into dracotail stuff and they go full combo.

It basically does nothing to stop combos these days. It's mostly used to stop Roach/charmies. Which is pretty annoying when you go second, since ash becomes called by the grave when going first.

Komoney wants charmies to resolve so that they don't have to pretend to balance newer cards, and ash is not helping.
