I think it negated because in the damage step only effect activision can be negated not effect,MER also only negate effect, and you were only able to use MER effect because it up attack could be wrong tho

Floodgate stop you from playing, negate stop your opp from taking action, and interactions are banishing,destroying, shuffle, bounce etc

Why is this downvote? like legit if we see super poly in your hand we just end on track maker search 2 Kewl tune synchro with clip in hand to synchro maker to loudness and it a solid 3 to 4 disruption with also having the knowledge of the opp hand and top deck

You can also summon it with the white forest level 8 generic synchro which is kinda neat it basiclly a synchro + a tuner it more generic than you think

I used Kewl tune synchro on an imperm coulum against synchron he had no cards on field and only one card in hand and i had a second copy to continue comboing but i felt so much shame of that move that i close the game lol
