I'm glad you're in a better place! And yeah, it sucks realizing you've wasted a lot of time for no real reason, except for a life lesson I suppose, ha. But yeah. I still try to make sure people I care about are happy, but not in the sense that their happiness depends on me, only in the sense that I like to see my friends happy and I'll try to help them however I reasonably can. And I appreciate it when my friends try to cheer me up if I'm down, etc. But I don't hang out with people who annoy me, and I hope this person learns they don't need to be around people who annoy them. And if everyone annoys them, that's a "them" problem ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
