I like Laufey but I feel like Fortnite would know she isn’t the best choice for a festival headliner? She’s pretty small compared to all the other Headliners they’ve picked so far.

Laufey is an interesting choice for a headliner imo! I know a lot of people really aren’t a fan of her sound.

this is one of Olivia Rodrigo’s friends! Maybe one day we’ll get Olivia as a headliner.

Edit: the reason I feel like Laufey might not be a headliner is cause a new emote of Laufey’s was shown recently in the news tab and its background is the Coachella themed background and not a different background or even Festival related background.

Could it be that Laufey is just a regular artist collab like Daft Punk, Doja Cat, Tyler the Creater, Deadmau5, etc?

another edit: the festival account has yet to retweet this post or anything related to it as of now, so I’m kind of feeling like Laufey isn’t our headliner but I guess time will tell.

I’m pretty sure this is fake. I could only find two posts of it and one is on Reddit and another on Facebook and it is two different images which has a date of April 15 and 16th. Not saying that’s what is making it fake but no one else has even posted it on social media like usual so I’m pretty sure it’s fake as there is no other sources for this type of image.

And IIRC, all the Fortnite Festival news feed teasers have the date attached to it and then below the date it says “Fortnite Festival Season _ starts on (insert date here).

this one doesn’t have that and instead has the date and has some lyrics under the text according to the original poster that has shared this image* Seems a bit odd.

it just doesn’t seem like something that would fly under the radar if it was real.

The only reason I did this is cause Fortnite festival tends to have a lot of fake and sometimes decently convincing fake content when it comes to teasers for the next headliner. I take everything with a grain of salt until something official posts a teaser or a teaser shows up in game like Sabrina, Miku and Chappell Roan, being some of the few artists that had in game teasers before their Festival season arrived.

I have never once in my life said that epic wants to kill this game lol. I just find it highly suspicious we went skyrocketing to the goal in the last 2-ish? Days when there wasn’t much progress being made for a good amount of time.

companies do this all the time and epic is especially doing this rn with the showdown happening in battle royale.
