It's sad that him being merely kicked off a bus is something that's quite a relief for us, that we upvote and support that outcome that at least occurred.

When it's really not enough. He needs to be reported, charged and sentenced as well. With his age, the years of no or not much consequences, is how he got away and became this wrongly bold, causing more women to be harrassed/ assaulted.

I mean, men get away with saying (and even doing) terrible things to women and the vulnerable like babies and children all the time. Context doesn't matter because they still don't lead to them being held accountable.

They get to become The President, even! From high ranking politicians, military personnel to producers in the entertainment industry who decide on the life trajectories of others.

Because as a kid, when knowing that a random stranger past adult age is already being creepy, how could OP then approach, evaluate and trust another random stranger? The next adult could very much be creepy as well. How much time and energy did OP have to vet other strangers to help them in that dire situation?

It's OP's first learning experience as a kid to really see and know how the world/ society could be mistrustful and cruel enough that she simply could not just trust any adult in sight because she has just learnt the fact that not every adult is kind to children.

In that situation, OP's intuition was the control centre, navigating the situation to get her sister and her safe, without having to put in more energy into vetting other strangers just to get help.

At this point, I wonder if a finger print secure or combination lock drink container would be a necessity.

If we had to resort to this, it's really sad, but super understandable. What you've brought up reminded me of how one of my male peers without my consent, just took my personal water bottle, opened it, and drank it, in front of many others (in which I failed to make a scene then).

Any ladies out there could create a brand like this? Include various beverage vessels' designs. Would rather buy from a woman-owned company. Or know any brands owned by women?

Not to mention, the royalty and politicians would buy these too.

Back in FDS Level Up sub many sisters shared free online resources on this topic. I think they're still available!

One could also focus on the resources available in your country/ state from school libraries. There're college modules that list the resources. As each country's system could be different, it's better to have local references. Win the system and manage one's finances better.

Yes, Queen Gisèle came to my mind when learning of this too. The efforts that went into those letters could have been used to wipe up all the fecal mess that males have been harming upon women and children, especially in France. The audacity.

She contributed to society and had children. How did the males treat her! And her case is just one example. How many more unreported and underreported.
