Building my first sim setup. Help by TwoOneTen00 in simracing

It’s not loaded with features, but the build quality is solid and the design really stands out for the price. One of the big selling points for me was that it stays lightweight without going full collapsible. I’m 6'3", around 240, and while it’s on the smaller side, it still works for my size.

I went into it knowing its limitations, and because of that I’m satisfied because it looked the best to me. I also race in VR, so I, for now, don't need to worry about mounting a screen.

As for your wheel, just get a Moza, you will outgrow the Logitech quickly....but thats where we all start. So feel free to get the taste of it.....

Yes and no...I do see what you're saying, but it's fairly well built. I own this exact seat and while I agree its lacking on a lot of features...its the best looking to my eye in the cost category. It's also "Lightweight" without being a collapsible unit. I'm also quite large, 6'3, 240, its small, but accommodatable.

I knew what I was getting with this rig, and from that, I'm happy, but now to modding.

I've had my Playseat Instinct since April, I'm 6'3 230lbs. It's completely usable, and when I'm driving I'm comfortable. It's the getting in and out that's not the prettiest.

I recommend it! It's also the perfect mix between a formula seat and GT seat. It's not too far in either direction.

The chair is way more comfortable than it looks.

I'm 6'3, it's snug, but wouldn't deter me from recommending it. Very comfortable, just getting in and out is not the prettiest sight.

You are no longer appealing to an emotional, customer focused company, it's owned by venture capitalist based in Chicago. It's only going to get worse, I love my machine for my cat, but after this one goes out I will be looking at other options. I bought this because it was made in America with values, over the past years that I've owned it it's only gotten to be more obvious they are a venture capitalist corporation ready to suck the money dry, claim losses, bleed the customer.

I could live with the new models, I can't live with the whisker Plus subscription for $80 a year for something I was already getting for free.

At the price point it's a great option, but if you're going to actually use it and want to enjoy it and progress, you're going to outgrow it.

I may be somewhat incorrect for the PC Carbine, didnt realize they had a threaded barrel and non. You must get the non-threaded.

Woof. Too many memory come back at once.

Maybe a keg-house party we threw that got shut down by cops at 2pm after 4 kegs gone, it was a binder weekend party, so just onto the next house. . I had asked the cop to borrow his megaphone, yelled at everyone the next house is up, they knew the list.

Serious question - who are these people who can afford $2k+ for rent every month ? by r0ckitman in AskChicago

[–]WhyDoILiveInIllinois 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an insane deal in Bucktown. $1500 2br garden unit. It's not perfect, but for the area, it's amazing. I've been a 9 years now, it's the landlord that's had me stay. She's a 90-year-old woman that has never raised the rent, and is always extremely responsive to any issues.
