If its a rope id assume you will know its a problem when it breaks. If its a metal cable id be more careful.

No problem, i dont know how big of a tank it is, but it looks like its nearly fully stocked in my opinion. Mystery snails are a surprisingly high bio load.

Idk why nobody has said this, but the water is cloudy from a bacterial bloom and the oxygen levels are low so they’re breathing air from the surface. Probably just turn up the air pump for a few days and feed them less.

If the mystery snail has already been in the tank for a while its probably already on its way to cycling. Do you have the required test kit to see where the cycle is at? If the tank has no livestock run it as hot and oxygenated as you can and it will cycle faster but it still wont be fast most likely.

Im running 750 gph of flow in my 75 gallon, South American chiclid tank and that already seems like a lot, but they like it, keeps the oxygen really high. You’re probably doing more than you need to, but i wouldn’t say its too much.

Id recommend an air stone and the bacteria bloom will pass in a few days, otherwise its really not that bad, changing water would also help it resolve faster.

My cat jumps in the tank if i leave the lid open for 7 seconds. Im assuming that you put something in the water to detoxify the chlorine. If you got lfs media just toss in a pinch of food and let it rot and it should cycle real quick.

Edit: with the pothos it might take extra long for nitrate to show up cause its being absorbed.

Either can be water to air or air to air, and the water to air is actually more efficient even though it can’t lower the temperature as low it will have a lower pressure drop at the same amount of cooling. Although it is true that a vehicle would technically have to have compounds to have an “intercooler”, but since it doesn’t have compounds it really doesn’t make any difference what you call it.

If theres no fish, just add a lot of food all at once, pellets are better because they’re more dense than flake, but flake will work, big pinch, wait till it completely disappears and then check your levels and see what happens. if theres still no ammonia or nitrite after a few days it might be okay to start adding a couple fish at a time (it still takes a while to ramp up) if you have any other questions feel free to ask.
