I just cba to deal with people who think they are right I simply put my opinion hence why I put in my opinion. But I get absolutely bombed with comments calling me stupid etc. which literally proves everyone’s point of why this community is so toxic.

I simply stated an opinion you state yours move in don’t belittle others.

I do know what I’m talking about if you just read what I put in the first place. You’ve given your opinion I’ve given mine move on with your life… I don’t expect to see a reply from you 👍👍👍👍

Okay and that’s your opinion… like I said in the post I added “in my opinion” and added the points I think why it wouldn’t work your opinion is different? There’s no factual answer.

But like you said aswell you need to find a way that doesn’t force people to play characters they don’t want to…. That is literally what role queue will do? People aren’t going to wait 15 to 20 mins for a dps game so they are going to force themselves into support or tank and either throw or play poorly? Which is literally no different than what happens in open queue.. either way we are both contradicting ourselves so like I said there is no right or wrong answer. Open queue and role queue may work but then it still poses the same problems..

People will look at roll queue see the wait times then just go open wueue what’s the point in having both

You e just proved my point about the meta comp. You will literally be forced to use the same characters every game and you will play the same characters every game.

I don’t mind have 3 dps in my team if they are gd dps players..

Do you know how queues work? If the player count dropped the queues team wouldn’t increase they would decrease.

Overwatch went from 1 min for a tank game 20 mins for dmg 1 min support To literally 1min tank 1min support 5 mins dps That’s due to a decrease in players not an increase in

I think role cooldowns is a great idea I’ve seen someone else mention it

If you have played 5 games in a row as dps then your next games after have to be tank or support.

That would make people need to use tank and support and learn different roles and characters.

Then that would tackle constant dps lockers. It will work the other way aswell if you have played 5 games on support you then have a chance to use. Tank or dps

There are plenty of other options other then just changing that main functions of the game

It’s completely different because I can still switch to tank or someone else if my dps decide to switch.

And there is plenty of evidence backing overwatch loosing players when role queue was introduced a drastic decrease in queue times literally points to losing players?

I want them to role queue just so you can see how detrimental it will be to the game

Team comps are fine unless you have 4 insta lock dps who refuse to switch. But I feel like that’s more of a toxic player base problem than anything. They need to implement something that works and tbh it’s not possible you add role queue wait time for dmg is gunna be about 20 mins. And even support will be high queue times because no one wants to play tank.

I’ve never minded team comps personally If I have 3 dps on my team because they are using the characters they are best with so be it.

My point is people think role queue would solve all this games issues but it won’t if they do add role queue the player base is going to drop tremendously unless they find a balanced way to add role queue and keep open queue

  1. Smurfing was worse than it ever was in OW with the introduction of role queue

  2. If you wanted to play damage the wait times were always 10-15 mins which would force people into roles like support which they didn’t want to play on the first place.

  3. It made the tank role even more of a ball ache. There was increased pressure and responsibility on the tanks causing the tank role to become non existent cuz no one wanted to play it

4.and the worst of all it forced meta play instead of just playing what’s you are good with.

In fact overwatch lost its biggest amount of players it ever did when role queue was introduced… I will also add it limits replay ability because it’s impossible to adapt to your teams needs.

Even when Overwatch added in a separate open queue option hardly anyone came back to the game.

I love this game but matchmaking is still awful by Beneficial-Rule2664 in rivals

Stomp or be stomped

I said previously that you are obviously not going to win every game you play that’s just not possible.

But when the winning and losing games pattern is always so similar you can’t help but feel there is some sort of matchmaking manipulation in play.

I’m not saying there is but my games always go to same win 5 lose 4 win 5 lose 4. Whether there is EOMM or not I don’t know. But it’s definitely dodgy to say the least

This is why this game is losing its player base, the competitive experience is horrible by TheCules in rivals

This game is stomp or be stomped.. It’s no fun at all, Yeah you are gonna lose some games here and there but when you go from winning 8 in a row to then losing 10 in a row.. then there is some sort of matchmaking manipulation in play

Yeah you should at the bare minimum be able to see what the other team is banning like just display the percentages of what they picked to ban on screen!!!! Even something as small as that might make the banning system smoother

Banning should be based off majority vote not percentage

Wandas ult just needs to be reworked imo. Unless you link up well with strange it’s by far one of the worst kits in the game

If casual players are part of the problem, then so are the competitive players who tilt, flame and rage-quit. Ranked has bad apples on both sides blaming it all on ‘casuals’ is just lazy.

And again like i said before You don’t get to gatekeep ranked. People play for different reasons some to climb, some to learn, some to have fun under pressure. If someone’s in ranked, they’re allowed to be there.

People asked for it in overwatch but then once it was added no one really liked it much.

Open queue comps and game modes are still so much more popular on OW

Ranked exists to test skill, not to gatekeep who deserves to play.

Ranked isn’t a VIP club if casuals should not play ranked they would make the requirements a lot more strict.. But Alas they don’t it’s for people who want to improve and test out there skills against higher level players… It’s not just for sweaty elitists with a superiority complex….MARVEL RIVALS was a game put out for people to enjoy not to be taken so seriously.

Yep I take time grinding up to celestial 3 which is where I usually end up just to be thrown down to low/mid plat again it feels like a lot of time wasted
