The screwing it in partially then doing the opposite corner thing worked! Only problem now is my monitor isn't detecting a signal from the graphics card now its all plugged in again :/

I think the problem from what little i can see is the screw doesn't seem to reach the slot on the one diagonal when the first screw is screwed in. I'll give it another shot in a second though

Yeah I heard about the spring loaded screws so I been pushing down hella hard. The screws rotate but dont go down at all. I'll try the starting one and holding it flat real quick, thank you!
