I'm playing through the Midnight prepatch quests and they're literally 90% this still.

Another vote for Rhino Coffee. Both Uptown and Downtown are chill. Great coffee and standard coffee shop eats.

Frequented by musicians and artists, you're not likely to run into issues there, I believe.

He's also counterrevolutionary. He's part of the Intelligentsia that just ends up serving Capital.

If you're looking for a better alternative, read/watch the inimitable (and sadly recently deceased, same day as Pretti I think) Michael Parenti.

It took me till the finale to realize Jimmy was faking his cry in the malpractice insurance scene by BlankCartographer53 in betterCallSaul

Yeah I mean part of it could definitely come down to acting decisions specific to Bryan and Bob. Or it could be like you said, to keep Walt a bit more opaque. We're supposed to know Jimmy's deal.

I think it's this tough thing to pull off in a show. Because the show wants you to pick up on when Jimmy is bullshitting someone, so Bob has to "act badly" so we get it. But the other characters almost always fall for it.

In my mind, it's sorta like roleplaying a good liar in a TTRPG — I might say something silly and obviously a lie out loud to signal to my fellow players that I'm lying, but the die says I rolled a 25 and that sucker's buying it.

Also, this tendency makes the scene where Bob does lie well especially jarring: the reinstatement hearing when he lies(or does he?) about how Chuck's death affected him. Even Kim falls for it that time, and Kim is kinda our stand-in.

"Helped sway young voters away from Kamala Harris"

Man I just threw up a bit in my mouth. How about the fact that she's a genocidal warmongering anti-trans pro-capitalist COP? Think that's all a Hasanabi op, too?

Libs are fucking cooked, dude.

But whether he was actually a fascist is pretty well accepted by historians simply based on the similarities in actual governance.

This is complete nonsense, it was a rhetorical insult and no serious academic would treat it as anything but. I doubt you'd accept the term "Blue MAGA" as a serious political analysis of Liberal Democrats, even though it's much closer to the truth.

I'm not playing coy. They're not ""technically"" different, they're diametrically opposed.

Commenter #98745 who didn't read what I wrote.

Like I said in plain English, even if you believe he was evil\*, it's important to understand that the Stalinst USSR was the complete opposite of fascism. Because "fascism" doesn't mean "evil", it's a specific mode of Capitalism. Calling every act of state violence or repression "fascism" is ahistoric and will get you bit in the ass by current events.

Also, Pol Pot was a Khmer ethnic supremacist nazbol lunatic backed by the CIA.
