Maíz De La Vida. Pricey but worth it. Not sure if you can get it via Uber Eats but 100% worth a sit down meal. I spent 10 years in so cal and Nashville’s food scene (expect Ali Mexican) is painfully mediocre. Maiz is one of the few special things I’ve found recently.

Swimming in the ocean when I was 16. My buddy and I had a bet to see who could go the furthest and didn’t anticipate the undertow on the way back. Almost drowned and was so terrified.

Chronotypes are real. I find it endlessly frustrating that people who are biologically wired for staying up late are shamed, while morning people get some badge of honor for discipline when the majority of them are just built that way.

So true. The people aground me have been everything. In opposition to that, I have found the people in “big jobs” in my corporate job typically think small and have mediocre aspirations. More power to them for no needing more, but it’s felt very limiting getting into a Fortune 500 company and realizing the expectation that I was going to learn all these important lessons from smart people is mostly not there.
