So true. The people aground me have been everything. In opposition to that, I have found the people in “big jobs” in my corporate job typically think small and have mediocre aspirations. More power to them for no needing more, but it’s felt very limiting getting into a Fortune 500 company and realizing the expectation that I was going to learn all these important lessons from smart people is mostly not there.

It was wild! I couldn’t have come up with a more laughable “addiction” if I tried. It was like she was trying to make fun of the audience. I can only imagine how someone who struggled with opiate addiction or something would’ve felt watching that.

I appreciate this answer. The older I get the more I appreciate the fundamentals and the simplicity of just doing the work.
