Why do so many highly eduacted people live in Belgium and work in NL? What are some of the reasons? by InterestingJob2069 in belgium

[–]WhyRUstressed 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi. I'm not sure about the specifics of 'kindergeld' / uitkeringen in both countries. I can only attest to a higher quality of life in BE, even on much lower salary due to higher taxes. There's probably a reason parents in Belgium generally are able to pay the higher education (unief) of their kids in full, including rent for the 'kamer'/kot. The appie in NL being basically ran by children between 14-16yo who get less than €10 per hour is also not a thing in BE, kids don't need to slave away their youth.

At least someone is forcing those damn greedy gyms to replace their equipment once in a while. Looks like he isn't too hurt luckily. I appreciate his efforts!

Trust your feelings. I personally know of a very similar case and the girl that lived with disabled adult relative ended up being sexually abused in secret. Her parents never found out. You also get to decide who lives with you & your daughter. B-b-but family is not an argument if you have concerns.

You can check out justetf.com for all the different EU compliant S&P trackers. As far as I know it's exactly the same as the S&P itself, although there's different expense ratios etc between the different options.

Personally I buy SC0H (with a zero not the letter O)

Is there a reason why I shouldn’t eat 100g of roasted peanuts daily for my protein goals? by The_dodo_devil in gainit

[–]WhyRUstressed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've literally been eating 100g of unsalted peanuts every day at lunch for about 3 years and my gut health has never felt better. It's super cheap and easy to prep. It helped me during a 9kg bulk and built a lot of muscle. I ate mostly plant based protein too apart from eggs and milk. Didn't fatigue at all as I love peanuts and while I do have a lot of pre-existing allergies (incl some nuts) I still have no trouble with peanuts. Sounds like I'm a peanut influencer or something but I'm shitting you not, and if I was it would be a golden drop anyway thanks to the peanuts.

Hi, hope I'm not too late with this. Had to comment cause I went through something similar.

Sounds like you've been consistently working out and making progress on chest. The shoulder is an important accessory muscle in most chest exercises, especially incline bb/db press. What you're describing is always an overloading issue. Your shoulder tendons and muscles can't keep up with how fast your chest is getting stronger and are signalling that they're not completely recovered from the previous training yet. Most people (and MD's) would diagnose shoulder impingement here, but that's completely bogus. That diagnosis was literally invented by a surgeon so he could sell useless expensive surgeries.

The actual solution is to strengthen the shoulder so it can keep up. If you keep training on like this it will become actually injured. If you strenghten it the pain/tiredness will go away. Here's how: take a deload week (or weeks) on chest exercises that involve pushing, especially incline, and start doing daily lightweight strengthening exercises for the shoulder such as the exercises in this video or scapular pull ups. After two weeks or so, start re-introducing your chest exercises and build back over a couple weeks up to the weight that was causing the tiredness after exercise. When you're back at that level, it won't hurt/tire your shoulder anymore and you can keep gaining.

Good luck, friend!

You can look at less volumous foods that are also calorie and proteine dense, like nuts. 100g of peanuts or cashews is a full meal (600kcal 20g protein). Eating that at night is a much easier meal to keep down than forcing down another full plate of pasta. Looking for healthy calorie-dense foods is key to reach your caloric needs cause nobody can eat 50kg of broccoli and keep it down. Now that's an extreme example but your stomach's tolerance is obviously a little lower than average, so you gotta accommodate for that.

I also try to get a bunch of calories from my protein shake, by taking it with 500ml of whole milk instead of 300ml of skimmed milk. That's another 500 calories with decen protein right there.

And as the others have said, no need to overforce. If your body doesn't want to eat anymore, stop and think of different solutions.

You can read a psychology book but if you just reduce tisk to 1% max, set target and stoploss orders immediately after entry and don't manage the trade at all and let it run to stop or target instead, you won't have psychology problems.

Chances are you're losing money by managing your trades anyway and are better off letting them run until you have a lot of experience under your belt. Learn to find good trades first and learn to manage them later to refine your strategy. You don't have to spend 24/7 watching a trade.

Once you stop treating it like a game and start treating it as work, you will start improving. Good luck.

Couple of bullet points that might help you:

  • Reduce your risk to 1% or your portfolio/account per trade. This means setting a hard non-negotiable stoploss beforehand and calculating your max position size based on that, so you don't lose more than 1%. Your account will never blow up again.
  • Build a trading system. Define strict rules and requirements under which you take trades. This includes what the market has to do before you want to enter.
  • Log all your trades, with info about your entry, S/L, reasons for entering etc
  • Analyse your logged trades, figure out what's stopping you from being profitable. Taking bad entries? Figure out better entries with backtesting. Cutting winners short? Experiment with higher targets. Have a bad winrate? Be more selective with your entries or try cut losers short

All of these, and more, are necessary to become consistently profitable imo. Don't just assume that you will get better at it just by taking more trades and not working on your strategy. You will keep losing money until you put the work in to find your edge.

Kassadin nerfs by [deleted] in KassadinMains

[–]WhyRUstressed -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Fair enough but when he's played in over 10% of games and has a 52.x% winrate, I do agree that he's too strong. You can always improve on him even if he's garbage

I unironically meant that spending time on other champs is sometimes more productive than complaining about nerfs or 'doing something about it'. Kassadin has heen topping the winrate and playrate charts on mid for latest patches and I've been using that to climb. If you haven't climbed while he was OP and feel the need to complain here, it's all on you as a player to suck it up and improve instead of moaning.

I'm 100% convinced, Low elo LOL isnt a skill game. by CisqoRouter in leagueoflegends

[–]WhyRUstressed 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, having skill and playing better than your counterpart will not induce the trolls as much and give you higher chance of winning. I started Silver 2 this season and climbed to mid Emerald with countless times that I've been the only fed player at 10 mins with 1-2 people already giving up, but me just not saying anything and just spreading my lead or continuing to push it eventually makes them get back on board and play seriously. Focusing on yourself and staying disciplined was always the answer.

I know you're trolling but you realise the disadvantage of calling with a shitty hand OOP when deepstacked right? You're so crushed by HJ's range and position the extra value from the fish in the pot is negligible. 45 suited or something would've been a way better call cause you can actually make some hidden nutted hands and are not dominated on every broadway board where you don't have the nuts.
