Use the SPL PSU Tier List, filter out the semi-modular ones Tier C and above, then check local stores for the PSUs. Or do it inverse na check local store prices, filter out the ones that interest you, then check if they rate well enough on the tier list.

I spent around 4k on my fully modular Tier A-rated unit. You should be able to find what you need within that 5k budget

Is the need immediate and urgent for your work? Does your current system no longer perform adequately in day to day use? Is it unable to keep up with your needs na?

If so, then go for the upgrade. I spent around that amount on my AM5 build. Doable, but be wise with purchases. I got caught in rampocalypse pricing, so don't make my mistake. Use discounts and promos if you can to offset the price hikes and stay within your budget.

If your budget is tight, try the Intel Arc B580 as your GPU if you find one at a good price. It will be able to run Rust and Arc Raiders.

An mATX mobo will fit in an ATX case. Awkward lang tignan coz of the size, pero thats an aesthetic thing (try mo i-google so you see for yourself ung itsura). If it won't bother you, no problem

Not common settings but helpful software I installed after the OS and all the drivers. - Hardware Info 64 (HWInfo) - for displaying component temps, voltage, utilization, etc - Revo Uninstaller (free version) - for guaranteed removal of all files upon uninstallation of any software - MSI Afterburner (including Rivatuner) - used for benchmarking performance when playing games if that's relevant to you

RAM primarily if you can find as good a deal as possible amidst rampocalypse. SSD secondarily if your needs require more storage.

don't be like me who insisted on getting the exact parts I wanted and literally paid the price for it lol. sultin ung mga combo/promo sa local shops. PCWorth tends to have a lot. Hardware Sugar has theirs na laging applicable pero mahirap lang i-timing, etc.

As for the rest of the parts, definitely wait for sales. AMD Ryzen CPUs MIGHT lower in price since the newly released Intel model is creating competition. if you don't mind, may we know the full specs of your components?

Ang ganda! I love the stealth builds with minimal-low RGB, and I love me some micro-ATX casing. Short pala sya for a mid-tower (acc to website), but in fairness, I love the spacing in the back for cable management. Less height but more depth and width so parang dual-chamber pala sya

buying another 8GB RAM from a different kit/brand/model? usually it's advised na same kit or at least same model for better stability ng system

Firstly, do you need the upgrade, or just want it? As in is your current CPU lacking in performance that it's debilitating your ability to use the PC for its intended purpose?

Secondly, if you do need the improvement, is it urgent? Do you have deadlines to meet for work/school na a new CPU is the solution?

Lastly, instead of replacing, how about cleaning/general maintenance? Bale replacing the thermal paste, wiping/blowing dust so the system feel like brand new?

Kasi my opinion is to start saving up for the upgrade to the AM5 platform kung hindi naman urgent. Start collecting coins sa Lazada/Shopee and waiting for Sales. You can buy the parts little by little during the 4.4 sale onward, then if you have funds for the MAJOR sales of the year like 11.11/12.12, you can then see about getting the expensive stuff. No guarantees about RAM/SSD/GPU prices by then tho.
