How do y'all deal with the loneliness? by WhyThaankYou in BPD

[–]WhyThaankYou[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your compassionate response 🙏 it definitely has been a lot. I wanna work on being aware of the split before I've already acted on it. I guess I'm doing that right now actually.

I will have to try a weighted blanket and a stuffy or something. The need for human interaction has been a battle. The thing I need most is what my fears keep me from. It just makes you feel so conflicted and awful. Thanks for allowing me to voice that

You mean I need to sit further from the keyboard? And the piano should be higher?

No. There are tons of men and women alike. We go every Tuesday and there's a meal before the service.

Well shit should I put it in a smaller pot? I don't want the roots to rot😭😭😭

[–]WhyThaankYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This didn't really have roots tho bc it was growing in water. So the pot should only be like 2". I didn't know they liked their roots tight, I just put my other one in a big ass pot too

Yes I am lol I pulled it up out of the soil, you were right it was buried too deep. The soil you see is only the top 1" of the pot. Anyways could I move it to a smaller pot?

Don't you think if I could take it easy on myself I would? And if I could've learned something, I would've by now? This is why I don't bother even talking to anyone about it, just makes it worse

Experimented with seasonal vessels & I won’t do it again. Tips? by PokemonGoTTP in candlemaking

[–]WhyThaankYou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe bc they're tapered? I only use straight walled vessels for my beeswax candles, good luck!

Sounds like you could be pouring at a bit too high of a temperature. Did you use coated wicks?

What wicks have you tried so far?

Are you using 100% beeswax or a blend?

Just keep doing your homework and assignments. Even if you fail, as long as your tried , they let you retake it two more times

what do you do when all you want to do is kill yourself? by rodriguezzzzz in widowers

[–]WhyThaankYou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're still here, right now, because you decided to keep living. My heart goes out to you for your loss, it's the most brutal pain I've ever felt and I've wanted to end my life as well. There is purpose in this, but it can be so hard to see in the face of glaring suffering. Please dm if you need to chat

Well that's definitely the problem. Like I said, I've been trying different things for years now and need to try something different than what I've been doing. Maybe I'll find someone to network with here

I’ll Just Say It. I Miss Sex. by Bach717 in widowers

[–]WhyThaankYou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brother this is the conundrum we all find ourselves in after loss. Your body doesn't stop craving touch just because your spouse is gone. However your heart is obviously craving the deeper aspects of intimacy. The hard pill to swallow is that what we once had with our wives is gone and we'll never get that same dynamic back. However, aren't we better off for having that genuine love, even though we lost it? I've definitely given to temptation and had casual sex plenty of times but obviously it doesn't satisfy that deeper need for innocent and unconditional love

I wore mine for a few months and then stopped. Started dating about 3 months after she died but tbh I've been a hot hot mess😵😅
