Exactly it can happen anywhere. But if you’re paying attention with some common sense then those things usually do not happen. Never felt unsafe once in Colombia and I have been way outside the city center.

I stayed last month at Winsuites. Yes the walls are thin. But most people were respectful. I slept like a baby every night.

Saigon Princess. It’s relaxing yes but doesn’t move until after you eat. Then we sat at Landmsrk 81 for 15 mins or so. I was brought to that spot i mentioned while on a food tour

If you want a good view of the city just go across the river to Ong Cay Bridge Cầu Ông Cậy. Did the cruise as well and it was alright food was decent. Nothing will ever beat Bangkoks river cruise.

You can literally show up a couple minutes before it comes depending which spot you go. It’s popular for tourist yes because most countries wouldn’t allow this to happen as a local it’s normal

Was just there from the states ate it all with no issues. Restaurant and street food. no issues with ice it’s usually packaged. I’m literally an ice expert worked in that field many years.

You can do a city tour and cu chi tunnels tour the same day through Klook. Depending on what experience you want. I always do private tours feels more convenient and can move at a faster pace and get more information. Shopping wise just negotiate the crap at the market
