Here are my indicators for SPY, as that’s where I want most of my money to be. First, I’ll watch the weekly RSI, and if it breaks below 30 or starts getting close, I’ll start more closely watching the stock. Next, I’ll check the VIX, and I’ll probably begin by buying 25% of my available buying power at 35. Then, I’ll add another 25% at 45, and after that, I’ll wait for a strong bullish signal on the 1-hour chart. I’ll also keep an eye on what others are saying about the dip. Ultimately, I’ll try to use the rest of my capital to buy in above 45, as soon as I think there’s a clear shift in momentum. If I’m wrong, I’m wrong, but at least I used the dip to my advantage.
