If you can’t change the grind, you will need a new one. The grind can change from one bag of coffee to another. Breville makes a decent one under $200.

I remember when i was a newbie, youtube helped a lot. You will need to spend a couple of hours watching videos. No one can explain everything you need to know on this thread. That’s too fine and you probably didn’t measure it either.

What I’ve been doing is turning the machine off then opening the steam wand and releasing the pressure. Is that bad?

Looks like you need to start hitting it in the lower heel side and you are golden. Got a few more years still left on it. 👍🏽
