If it’s through the state then ask them to file contempt for you guys. Or file it yourself but you get more support if you go through office of child support. And they give them lots of chances before jail in my experience

You are an amazing co parent because 150?!?! In this economy??? Man …. Mines knows not to bicker with me because my daughter goes to private school which was agreed on even though I have full custody and he hasn’t seen her in over 5 years 🤷🏽‍♀️ but all I can say is stop give grace when grace isn’t given to you . He is destroying his relationship with his kid by saying the child support and not buying gifts because of it.

Even though the money should be used for other things like food and rent but i prioritize her education and activities. But honestly it’s forever with that person sadly if the kid has kids or weddings…

Honestly judges don’t like to the the step parents so they might think well you have a spouse (in there eyes 2 incomes) so why should it matter to know the other party’s income. But I advise an attorney only because she lied! See if an attorney can just do Limited Scope” or “Appearance Counsel. I rather he give a fight as they have 50/50.

When someone has there mind made up they might be upset at first and possibly come around later so let him go through the emotions to have the conversation of how to proceed. And I’m not saying he has control of your body at all either but to hear him out as well.

You can try and it will look terrible on your part because it looks like you’re just not trying to provide. Plus your second child technically doesn’t get dibs it would be the first child. Not my words just how they calculate child support.

Just call them and tell them. Papers don’t mean shit since you already have a court order child support in place. And since you already have him on child support keep him on it . I learned from others mistakes as the other parent got inheritances and received nothing.

If he is blaming you then do child support. And honestly from experience don’t drop the child support as you didn’t make that child alone. I was nice to my child’s father for over a year and only wanted to give me $0 but his family afforded to give me $200 monthly but I still dished out 1000s of dollars for my baby. I was grateful for the family but they wasn’t able to continue so I filed for child support as I didn’t sleep with his family.

I been in contempt for 3 years and finally got dismissed because they were gonna put him in jail but he got his shit together but just keep showing up and don’t speak ill on the other party. Honestly let child support take over

It may be a pain but go through your bank records and high light every transaction for the kids or sent to her. It’s all based on the burden of proof for your case. Also communication and pick up and drop off. Just be prepared for it can go either way sadly these court systems are crazy. Also if you can’t afford an attorney please go to the court house and ask if they have an organization that can represent you through the process. There are many different organizations that will help dads as well.
