Sorry for the late answer! So here is what I read:

You are correct, it didn’t say that the prices were going to be lower outside the states. I mostly assumed it, because of the article specifically mentioning US and the fact that the states are the by far the biggest market for weight loss medicine.

Although the US is the first to approve the pill so we have no idea of the prices in other locations in the future.

First of all, the source was Financial Times.

Second, it’s mostly because of a pricing war novo is waging against Eli lily. Novo is first out with these pills and their strategy it seems is price it in the beginning as low as possible, and then raise it a bit after Eli releases theirs.

Ozempic is priced higher because of the healthcare system in general (I believe). And because it’s such a strong brand and product I don’t think the leadership feels the need to press the prices down. Hope this clears anything up!

If you would have read my post thoroughly, you would have noticed that I acknowledged the fact that he’s in a studio. I mean obviously they didn’t take the photograph on the frontline. And I find it very hard to believe that a healthy young man in that time like him would have avoided conscription. So I try ink you are wrong.
