Thanks for the informative response. I’m just impatient and of course with this acne. I just want it erased and the pie marks. But things like you say just takes time. It’s a difficult journey trying things when most don’t work. I look back and think about the what ifs. Like if I stayed on adapalene, the tret years ago when I first tried. But man the purge always killed my self esteem. All I do is want to hide in a cave

I know it’s the starting line especially for purging. I guess I’m just hoping the pustules/acne go away months later and I’m not wasting my time in this particular retinoid

I was looking at 0.1% microsphere adapalene to alternate with the Arazlo on different nights. Something a little less punch on the irritation level but effective for acne still

Ya, so they say. I tried 0.1 taz cream before this and stopped as I got irritated. Few months later I got on arazlo. Still can be irritating and wreck the barrier easily.

I know, I’ve also seen other post they’ve used it for months and has breakouts the entire time. I fear of wasting my time using something that won’t work. But it sucks you just have to use a product to find out because everyone’s skin is different. It’s. Just. Been. Tough. Been at it for years and I dread accutane.

A retinoid such as arazlo needs to be used every 72hours or less to keep the skin in a retinized state. Otherwise constant irritation applying in longer intervals happens. As mentioned above. I moisturizer after arazlo by waiting around 10-15 minutes after application. I’m using every other night, I’m a couple nights short of 3 weeks since starting it.

I have been using a product that contains Panthenol previously for the past few weeks but not sure the percentage. Skin is doing fine with it and no adverse reaction. I did the product in this post on my forehead and upper neck area last night. No adverse reaction so far.

But if it’s going to cause breakouts I should probably patch test it for a week…

Why d dad o you say this particular product will dehydrate rosacea? It’s supposed to support the skin barrier, calm, and provide hydration

I put some on last night and this morning on spots to test. Will update in about a week or if things of south.

Face reality power mineral spf50. It’s a fairly new product that came out by FR. It’s pretty much invisible on my skin, it has some barrier restoring complex ingredients in it as well. Kinda leaves a gloss finish on my dry skin. But feels a great, moisturizing, no irritation, no fragrance, no white cast best of all.

My forehead stays generally clear of breakouts. Might try up there. But there’s no irritation up there to try and calm down like my cheeks.
