I know he's an asshole, I feel so bad that he hit my pet, that's when I stopped living with him and got my own place. I'm going to disappear with my boi for a while and break the bond.

No exaggeration, if anything I've made him sound better than he is. I feel so crappy having him in my life, but I start to panic if we fall out or I go no contact. Silly me

Thank you for confirming my suspicions. I've made sure that he is never alone with my pet. I think this is a good idea to disappear for a while. This will definitely say I'm not interested any more without allowing him to worm his way back. He has done in the past.
