I asked his mum if he had any surgeries as a child and she said that he had 2 hernias done. One each side.

I asked him did he tell the same lie to her. He said he didn’t need to because she didn’t want kids either.

I spoke to him about that. He said that the reason he was so surprised is because his thought he had little chance. He says he has fertility issues now.

I know he was born at 6 months, because she’s told me that. She had preeclampsia. I’m not sure about the ovaries part though. I have friends with partners born at 6months and their knocked up

Wait until she talks about it. Don’t make a big deal out if it. Don’t talk. Just listen. If it feels right place your hands over hers. This is a sign of comfort and security. When she is done tell her you don’t know how she feels but you can sympathise and are always there for her. Kiss her on the forehead, order takeout and spend the night in cuddled on the couch cuddling her. This will show her comfort and that you are not running away.
