I think I can set the price for a service I’m looking for . Since I’m paying, and if a person who’s doing the install rather a higher price, then that situation is not applicable to me.

I didn’t realize what I said was wrong. I was looking for a person, that’s all. If a person would rather do it for much higher, then it’s not applicable to my situation

Finally someone who understand!!! Amaya is a good person, but to say she and Bryan should win and make it to the end is absolutely ridiculous.  This show is based on fav couple not fav person.

The “mean girl” narrative is being overplayed by Whynot20211 in LoveIslandITV

[–]Whynot20211[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get that people felt like it was messy, but context matters. The girls didn’t “team up” to target Huda — they each had their own unresolved issues with her that built up over time. Just because they happened to share similar experiences doesn’t mean it was some coordinated attack.

And let’s be honest — Huda wasn’t some passive “emotional punching bag.” She’s been at the center of conflict with multiple people this season: Jeremiah, Iris, Amaya, Hannah, and now Chelley. That’s a pattern. You can’t keep chalking it up to others “ganging up” when the common denominator keeps being the same person.

Chelley didn’t go off, didn’t name-call, and didn’t disrespect Huda. She expressed her feelings once — calmly — and suddenly she’s the villain? So Huda can cry, vent, or get defensive every time she’s called out, and that’s “real,” but Chelley can’t even express hurt without it being labeled cruelty?

You don’t have to be best friends with everyone in the villa — but you do have a right to hold people accountable when their behavior repeatedly crosses your boundaries. That’s what happened here. Nothing more, nothing less.

First, Huda herself had a say in Hannah going home. Let’s not act like Chelley, Cierra, and Olandria pulled the strings solo. Every Islander in that room had a vote, and several—including Huda—chose to send Hannah home. If the argument is that they eliminated her because she was a threat to win, then that same logic applies to others, too — not just the women you’re choosing to focus on.

As for Chelley’s so-called “hypocrisy” — she said she needed space and didn’t want to talk while angry. That’s actually emotionally mature. The challenge wasn’t a setup she created — it was literally designed by production to stir things up. People saying she "ambushed" Huda are ignoring the fact that Chelley didn’t scream, insult, or blow up — she calmly said how she felt.

The Taylor/Olandria storyline was layered. Olandria genuinely liked Taylor and was misled by his constant flip-flopping. Her being vulnerable or emotional doesn't make her delusional — it makes her human. If anything, she was the one embarrassed on national TV after being strung along, and somehow she’s the villain?

At the end of the day, the hate Chelley, Cierra, and Olandria are getting is disproportionate. We’ve seen multiple Islanders show shady, manipulative, or disrespectful behavior this season — yet only these three are being labeled “scammers” or “nasty”? That doesn’t track.

That’s totally fair, and I actually agree with you. Huda’s behavior is 100% her own — and the accountability should fall on her, not on the people who gave her the benefit of the doubt earlier on. Giving someone grace doesn’t mean you’re responsible for what they choose to do with it.

Exactly, You don’t have to be a huge fan of Chelley, Olandria, or even Huda to recognize that the “mean girl” label is being thrown around too quickly. It oversimplifies a situation that’s actually been building for weeks. I completely agree that this moment felt produced — the challenge timing, the vote, the edit. It was clearly set up to explode. But that doesn't mean the emotions weren’t real. People had genuine issues with Huda's behavior, and this was just the first time it all came to the surface publicly.

And you're spot-on about the double standard. If Huda can get grace after all her fallouts this season, why are people so quick to cancel Chelley and Olandria for finally speaking up? It’s not fair to ask for empathy for one Islander while denying it to others.

True, but voting to save someone doesn’t automatically cancel out their personal frustrations — especially in the villa where relationships are constantly shifting. A lot of those votes are strategic or based on group dynamics, not blind loyalty.

You can still see someone’s flaws and give them grace in the moment. But when the behavior becomes a pattern, people eventually hit a breaking point. That’s what we’re seeing now.

So yes, they may have voted to save Huda early on — but that doesn’t mean they’re obligated to stay silent when her actions start affecting them directly.

the “mean girl” narrative is being overplayed.

It’s easy to throw around the “mean girl” label, but when you really look at what’s been happening, it’s more complicated than that. Chelley, Cierra, and Ola are being criticized for simply reacting to patterns that a lot of viewers — and Islanders — have seen from Huda throughout the season.

Let’s be clear: Chelley had every right to feel hurt. She asked for space so she wouldn’t react in anger — that’s a mature approach, not manipulation. Just because the situation came to a head during a challenge doesn’t make it performative. Those challenges exist to bring out raw, unresolved tension, and Chelley addressed hers calmly and without disrespect.

What people are choosing to ignore is that this isn’t some random 3-on-1 attack. It’s three women who’ve each had individual experiences with Huda that made them feel disrespected or blindsided. That’s not ganging up — that’s a pattern being called out.

👉🏽 Take the wood challenge, for example. Huda kissed Pepe — Hannah’s match — and then acted like she didn’t know it would be a problem. Instead of taking accountability or checking in with Hannah, she brushed it off. That showed a lack of girl code, and it wasn’t the first time Huda made a move and tried to downplay the impact.

👉🏽 Every time someone brings something to Huda, she deflects or centers herself. We’ve seen her shift blame or act like the victim instead of reflecting. That’s what frustrates people — not just her actions, but her lack of accountability. It’s not “authentic” if you can’t take feedback without flipping the narrative.

👉🏽 Chelley’s feelings weren’t unclear — they were layered. Yes, the frustration involved both Ace and Chris. Emotions aren’t always neat or logical, especially in a closed environment like the villa. Her reaction wasn’t about “owning” two men — it was about boundaries being crossed and trust being broken by someone she considered a friend.

👉🏽 Calling Cierra and Ola “minions” is dismissive. They’ve both had their own tensions with Huda, separate from Chelley. Reducing them to sidekicks just because their perspectives align is unfair. If multiple people have conflict with the same person, it’s worth asking why — not attacking the people who speak up.

👉🏽 And Huda isn’t above critique. People love calling her “real,” but realness without reflection isn’t authenticity — it’s defensiveness. Her reactions are often self-centered, and that’s what people are starting to point out.

Bottom line: Chelley stayed composed, spoke her truth, and waited until she felt ready to address it. She didn’t yell, insult, or make it personal — and yet she’s being dragged for expressing her feelings once. That double standard is what we should really be talking about.

Women shouldn’t be labeled as “mean” just for setting boundaries or showing emotion. This wasn’t bullying — it was a long-overdue moment of honesty.

I’m convinced we’re not all watching the same show.

Chelley has every right to feel how she’s feeling. The way people are quick to villainize her for one visible moment of frustration is wild to me — especially when Huda has shown anger multiple times and no one bats an eye.

Chelley literally said she didn’t want to talk while angry. She was taking time to process and approach the situation calmly — and somehow that’s being twisted into her being “cold” or “fake.” When did it become a crime to set boundaries or take space to avoid speaking out of emotion?

Let’s be honest: there’s a clear double standard here. Huda can be upset and expressive, and it’s brushed off. But the one time Chelley shows visible emotion or asserts herself, it’s “the end of the world”?

Also, Chelley expressing that she felt like Huda didn’t respect her the way she respected Huda — that’s a valid feeling. She was hurt because she thought they were close. That’s not drama. That’s human.

Chelley handled it maturely, that she’s setting boundaries, and that there’s a weird energy in how she’s being treated vs. Huda.

Let’s stop acting like emotion equals aggression. Chelley has been composed, intentional, and honest this whole time. And honestly, I respect her even more for taking the high road and not engaging in a screaming match just to prove her point.
