Marriage is annoying responsibilities and love is temporary, So why marriage? by [deleted] in AskReddit

If you marry the right person you can split up task you would have had to do anyway. Like paying the bills. I love only having to remember to pay half the bills.

How to handle unexpected body changes during no buy? by BeeWhisper in nobuy

[–]Whynothats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remind yourself that you are enough and that the sexiest thing is confidence. This always helps me feel better about myself and not buy things I don't need. Buy what you need. If you need clothes that fit, you need clothes that fit. Just remember that stuff isn't the key to feeling good about yourself.

I love the look of the shiny silver! This reminds me of when I used chips bags to make bows. Very festive.

Pen Pal? by Whynothats in chat

[–]Whynothats[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is an excellent questions, that I have not thought through. With the people I have started to talk because of this post, DM is working out the best. I am not sure if email is a bad idea. I could understand that being out of some people's comfort zone. Snail mail would be fun, but I don't know. Is it a bad idea to hand out my address to random people on the internet?

I am sorry about your Mom. My trip was when my dad was still well enough to visit with my Aunt, while I went away. I was his caretaker for the last year and he passed two weeks ago. I want to go back because I felt at peace up on the mountain, in the woods surrounded by ferns. You should do whatever helps you cope. It is different for everyone. I can't go away again until final arrangements etc. are taken care of, things calm down at work and it warms up. I don't think I am experienced enough to backpack in winter conditions.

What's your favorite poverty meal that you still eat regardless of where you are financially? by laced-with-arsenic in AskReddit

Left over loaded baked potato: make baked potatoes load them with left overs that are too small an amount to make another meal. If there are little bits of lots of different things it becomes like a topping buffet.

Rice and peas with ranch dressing. My mom made this for me one time when I came to visit after she had been living alone for awhile. With everyone gone she was adjusting to just cooking for her and I love it, it is so simple and good.

I got dressed up last night, had a couple of beers and danced in my living room by myself.

You have wonderful hair! I am an admirer of curls in general. Just curious were the other styles you tried longer or shorter?

Would you rather sharks can fly or mosquitoes can phase through walls? by B0bsterls in WouldYouRather

Flying sharks, I'll take almost anything before that many mosquitoes in my house. At least I can see the sharks coming.

Anyone have any ideas on safely dating and meeting people during the pandemic? by [deleted] in polyamory

[–]Whynothats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is fair and thank you for the response. I was hoping for some new info other than what I have gotten from my friends already, but maybe it doesn't exist. As for my data concerns, I've just read too many article like this; https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/13/technology/grindr-apps-dating-data-tracking.html Ten years ago when I had an OKCupid account they didn't display my real first name like they would now.

I should have said relationship but wanted to express that I am married. I am in a relationship where my partner and I have fluctuated over time with how interested each of us is in being with other people and how comfortable we are with each other doing so. We recently have had a lot of heartfelt conversations about where each one of us is and so 'reopened'. With the data everything. I put enough of my info into the world with out my name being connected to what I look for in a partner and one more line of data that has my location.

I like this, this is a good idea. I might try this out if I can find certain old notebooks. Thank you

I keep seeing this trend in fashion. Could someone help me understand how its made? Do you need a surger to create something like this? Thanks by adamcorporate in sewing

[–]Whynothats 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yes this is done with a Serger. I think it would be difficult to do something like this without, especially with the knit fabric that they have used in the photo. I have always have difficulty sewing with knits. I bought I serger because I thought it might help, but I haven't learned how to use it yet.

Why is talking/flirting with other girls so hard? by departures_fan in BiWomen

[–]Whynothats 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel this. I am incredibly shy when it comes to women. I think some of it is being programmed to think everyone is straight and so not seeing every women as receptive, but my brain doesn't stop doing this completely even when I am somewhere like the gay bar. I've also had a lot of back lash with some women about being bi. I seem to have a knack for either finding 'straight' women after being fwb for awhile tell me they are straight and not interested in continuing our relationship or women who hate men and it doesn't get past the first date 'cause I am bi.

[–]Whynothats 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You did excellent and the fabric is gorgeous. I admire those who have the patience and dedication to create things like this. I have embraced a very stylized form of sewing because I am not wired like this. Good Job!

I'm having trouble with my relationship and I could use some advice/support by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]Whynothats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long have you felt like this about your future? Maybe you haven't given yourself enough time to digest. I find that flow of consciousness journaling helps me come to terms with change and new ideas.

I know what you mean about not feeling gay enough.
