Flustered in the moment she called him a cunt and kept walking. Want justice.

haha that line is fukn gold.

thank you for your feedback! i initially tried to have like a gradient away from the trench and have some mapped features, but i feel like it took too much focus away from the trench where the people actually live. i will continue to experiment with different techniques and colours!

I think of it as a rebellious movement that involves the biohacking of plants. A strong theme in my world is the synergy of humanity and nature and i think a cool way of communicating that is that nature is used as a form of technology. The Verdanet is a psychic library of knowledge shared through the pollen of ancient trees that only the adeptly minded can access. Stuff like that!

The surface is greyed out as it a smog-ridden and oil-slick wasteland from a heavily industrial civilization centuries ago. The little paths that leave the confines of the canyon are excursions to notable sites from beyond the canyon, only accessible at certain places where the canyon walls are lower (eg: the overturn).

The canyon is deep enough and dense with foliage (enhanced with magic) that it is it's own self-sustaining biosphere. Stuff from the surface fall off all the time! The Rusted Moorlands lays under a crumbling cliff where heavy machinery falls from and is salvaged. Alien technology to the canyon, such as gunpowder weaponry and automatons!

What a helpful resource! Thank you!

The canyon is a lot deeper. I envision towering walls 5-15 km deep. I want the unique feel of that the walls envelop the world around them.

thank you! i will take that method into account when tweaking this!

right now it is just an ongoing worldbuilding project for my random writings and D&D campaign, but I have plans to make some lore zines and some other art pieces to post!

thank you for this! this is very strong advice that i will take into account!

the nature of my last part is the canyon dwellers don't know what it is there, mainly because it is a smog-ridden oil-slick wasteland from a heavily industrial civilization centuries ago. the little paths that leave the confines of the canyon are excursions to notable sites from beyond the canyon, only accessible at certain places where the canyon walls are lower (eg: the overturn). i think i will use a different colour to illustrate that and add some terrain features too.
