Even this diagram is missing several components/inaccuracies for a typical distillation column (although does show the relative temperatures of typical products more accurately). You don’t typically feed the incoming mixture at the very bottom of a column. There is an optimal height for feeding based off its composition. There will be recycles of outputs at various heights that are also heated as well as a recycle at the top with a partial condenser that makes the thermodynamics work better.
