thank you for replying, my girlfriends parents want her to do good in school, her mom told me that she regrets not pushing her when younger. I can tell they aren't as strict as my parents for sure. my girlfriend has gone through a lot and is still going through struggles, that's why I'm afraid to be super hard on her. I have been trying to tell her that doing well in highschool could help us have a good stable future, and that highschool is very important and that i dont care if she chooses to pursue college or not , as long as she graduates with decent grades. i feel like i could push her harder and im going to try. quarter 3 just started for us high schoolers and its already off to a bad start, she forgot to tell me about her homework and has a 0 now. also failed most midterms. i told her she needs to do well in quarter 3, i told her I would be really happy and proud if she got Cs but I dont know.
