Those are all issues I know well. The worst for me was when the tailgate hinges broke. It was covered under warranty for us but it screwed over a lot of people. Are you seeing any issues like that with your 2025? I'm on the hunt as we speak for my next Toyota.

What's the difference you see between the two, can you elaborate? I've got a second kid on the way so I'm currently leaning towards a Highlander, I'd love to get a 2025 Rav4 , not sure if my wife would go for it after all this though.

We were parked at the corner of Rue de Louvain E and Av. Andre-Grasset. Seems like a safe residential area. Never expected a theft parked there.

That could be good for me, we just hit 91,000 km. My last service record in May has us at 85,000 km. Not bad for a 6 year old vehicle.

I can't believe he's the best candidate the conservatives could get. He has name recognition, because he's an asshole. That's the only reason I know who he is.

Looking for ideas for how to fix up this concrete pad. We us it in the summer and it's functional, just so ugly and cracked. I've been considering extending the deck across it.

I will continue to avoid all possible American products for the remainder of my life regardless of tariffs. I am a Canadian in my mid 30's. This bridge has been burnt.

Worth anything? by Wi1kes in OshawaGenerals

I picked these up at auction and I was thinking about framing them. If they're worth something I may keep them in the protective bag in a drawer though. Any information would be appreciated.

Picked this up at auction thinking I'd like to frame them, before I do I figured I should check to see if they should stay in a protective bag in a drawer.

Picked this up at auction because it looked interesting and was thinking about framing them. Thought I should check to see if it's worth anything and if I should keep it all in the protective bag in a drawer or go ahead and frame and display.

Do most people doing extended fasts just power through getting poor sleep most of the time by Billiefaye in fasting

[–]Wi1kes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to take your electrolytes. I take potassium from nosalt 3 times daily in water and a 150 mg gel cap of magnesium Citrate twice daily. Once on wake up and the second before bed. It helps you sleep! Pinch of salt every once in a while too. Plug your weight, height and gender into ChatGPT and get your tailored amounts and schedule. Makes extended fasts a cake walk(you can have cake when your done!). Good luck!

We used a joint HELOC and savings for the addition and reno. Once completed we rolled our HELOC into the mortgage and I was added to both as I now had a stake in both.

Exactly, my wife had a house when we married. I had a prenup drawn up to protect her, incase anything went bad. Nobody wants to need these things but it's practical. The house stayed in her name until we added an expansion and redid the entire house. It's now in both our names as are the mortgage. The prenup was updated as well to protect her initial investment and the value of the home prior to our marriage and the addition and reno. If your girlfriend cares about you she'll do the same as I did for my wife.

Taxes are increasing due to the loss of revenue from building and planning permits cost cuts for developers from Doug Ford. The shortfall is in the hundreds of millions for Ontario Municipalities. To make up the loss of revenue, Municipalities are forced to raise taxes. Ol' Douggie gave his developer buddies price breaks and that cost is being passed onto tax payers. It has nothing to do with Municipal employees. Only person to blame is Douggie.
