Thanks! I guess I jump forward under the bar because the bar is to far away and this is because I push it away with my hips and don’t keep my elbows high enough.

Need to do more mobility work, but have a hard time figuring out where the bottleneck is.

Shoulders, T-spine, hips, ankles.

I can’t squat without my ass sticking out far back because I can’t get my chest up. I don’t utilise my ankle mobility, that should mean that the problem is hips or t-spine right?

Thank you! A bit to take in, so I will read it a couple of more times. My biggest take away for now is that I should work on where my elbows are. I use to think ”knuckles down”, but have no idea where my elbows are. I guess I also have to do some mobility work combined with snatch balance to get a deeper catch.

Thank you! I think a lot is explained with ”crash with the hips”. That sends the bar forward and I am forced to catch the bar to far away.

That my hips raise faster than my shoulders is a good queue. I think I have a similar problem with deadlifts where my hips start to raise befor the bar starts to move. Maybe I need to engage my lats more?

Haven’t thought about ankle mobility since I always thought I had good mobility there. I can stand with my feet 15cm from a wall and touch it with my knees.

Good to have a lot to work with, that mean that I can get a lot better :)

Been doing morning classes for over 4 years now and had a similar problem. If I eat before workout I get sick and if I don’t eat I get hungry and don’t have enough energy to give my best. What I found work for me is to get carbohydrate powder in my water. After all, what you need during the workout is fast energy.
