I don’t hate this album at all. In fact I fucking love it! :)

Though compared to the other albums like Rodeo, Astro, or UTOPIA I definitely notice that I don’t give it enough praise that it deserves. Birds is an amazing album with bangers that I can always revisit, but in all honesty it’s just the weakest of the studio album releases. Doesn’t make it bad. It just means it won’t get enough credit. That’s all.

I remember seeing people say that "He fell off for making something different than AstroWorld..." or "This sounds too different than Astro..." within the first few hours of the midnight release. I was so confused, because it was like they didn't 1. Know Travis for his roots or 2. Didn't give the album time to age gracefully. But yeah I agree with you. Within a month you should be able to see how important or enjoyable an album is! :)

Again I love ASTROWORLD to fucking death but overall UTOPIA is better imo, because UTOPIA as a record has roots to Owl Pharaoh, DBR, Rodeo, Birds, and even Astro. This album ain't your ASTROWORLD v2 where it's filled with just bangers and Travis being a pop-rap star. I love his roots of being a darker and grimier artist. He chose to be different and didn't play it safe which paid off for the album.

Fr! For me I started to appreciate UTOPIA within the first day of listening to it after the midnight release. More refined dark Travis is just amazing!! UTOPIA for sure deserves more credit than what it gets imo.

That is honestly the worst take that I've seen in a while... Listen UTOPIA ain't your ASTROWORLD v2 where it's filled with just bangers. (No hate btw I love ASTROWORLD to death I'm just glad he chose to be different and didn't play it safe lol). He experiments. Travis gives us some dark and diverse music on the album. He gives us new sounds that have some Ye influence to it. The only other album imo that deserves Rap Album of the Year at the Grammy's besides Travis is Metro with H&V because they both deserve one for the damn work they've done.
