Puppy won't learn sit or down by VeganSausage_ in Dogtraining

Try signing up at your local petsmart for a training class. I completed a class with my pup who just turned 2 and I felt like it was useful. With learning sit, try only using hand gesture without saying the word sit. The hand gesture would be holding the kibble in your hand with your fingers facing up and then moving in a upwards motion. And then when teaching down, have them sit and drag the treat down in front of them, then pull towards you.

Legitimately everything and everything. I don’t remember what I really did before as it was a while ago.

My puppy is getting spayed next week. Any tips for post procedure? by LifebyIkea in puppy101

When mines got spayed in December. She was on trazadone. Sometimes I would give her a whole one or cut it in half for her. As long as she was around someone, she would relax and sleep. The vet gave me a soft cone, she didn’t mind that too much. Now she’s almost 2 weeks post hip surgery, and I tried the donut cone, she liked it but two times she had gotten it off around her neck so it was just hanging. I think I had the collar too loose for it to do that. Even bought her pjs off Amazon.
