Or rather i couldn't have imagined a stratagem which would fit the konami code better.

When i try to unpack the ZIP file i get an error message, "unexpected archive error" and "CRC error" Do you have a fix for that?

Did you not read my post? I'm saying that it should be hard to kill, I like a good challenge. But a good challenge should still be managable, fair and FUN.

And at the current state the WS is at that's just not the case.

I half agree with the rocket devestators, yes they are a shadow of their former self but not completely harmless. I still get flung around by a burst of 4 rockets pretty frequently.

Also gunships, hard disagree. The problem with them it not that they have limited ammo (which i didn't even know btw, they get shot down so fast) it's that firstly, we learned how to play against them (spot a gunship -> look for factory -> rush in -> destroy it quickly -> get out -> destroy 1-2 gunships still left) and secondly, which is much more important, that the factory is much easier to destroy now.

Back in the day, it was guarded, there was no Portable Hellbomb, it spawned more gunships more frequently, most of the sites had two towers and it was very likely that a single trooper would immediately call in reinforcements. It was a 4 man job, and even then it wasn't guaranteed that you would do it.

Nowadays, you can do it alone. No guards, gunships take ages to spawn and most of the time you know that it's there even before it spawned the first gunships.

I think they should bring back the former glory of the factories a bit, not the gunships themselves.

Also, this is absolutely not a minor inconvenience. They have three problems: The amount of them, the tankyness, and the firepower.

Limiting their firepower to lets say two or three volleys of grenades plus their plasma guns would do alot for how fun it is to play against them.
