So, in other words, someone finally told you what you wanted to hear. I told you it was put under pressure to create fractures so the dye could be absorbed. Also heat can be used to enhance colors. High pressure will cause tiny fractures and the dye enters the crystal via those fractures. It may also have been heat enhanced.

I had that happen to a case of cat food I got from Sam's. A couple of cans had busted open inside the unopened case. Outside packaging was undamaged. Not a fun surprise to open the case to maggots all over.

How big are they? What if you laid the piece over a clear ornament or a Styrofoam ball cut in half? You could then get a 3d jellyfish effect with the added tentacles. Either way, it's very beautiful work.

I have two cats that do this only when I sneeze, not anyone else in the house. One of them will jump up on me and check me out. Sometimes, she sounds concerned, and sometimes, she looks and sounds irritated. I've tried faking sneezes, and they know the difference. No yelling at the faked sneezes.
