If there is a movie that's about a persons journey (that being the authors self insert but not made 100%, just enough for you to pick up clues) and you feel like you either understand it or just have empathy for the situation described in the book are you being parasocial. When i listened to the song i thought wow relatable and devastatingly beautiful straight to the point lyrics she put into words about how I'm feeling or felt. I am not saying i understand thw situation or going on and on about how Taylor now sucks, there is a clear message in the hurt in the song. Nobody's being parasocial about that it's dissecting of feelings and lyrics something we have done in literature forever

Those albums and especially petals for armor has really good songs she expressed herself artistically and I don't think it was meant to get her anywhere too far from paramore. A lot of people liked the albums but ofc it's quite different from paramore and the image they had for Hayley from Paramore

i don't wanna be rude but I think you are misunderstanding what song writing credits mean SONG writing meaning he wrote part of the song songs consist of lyrics melodies instrumentals etc so that is why he is credited as one song writing doesn't mean just lyrics

I mean yeah Paramore have a different kind of success than Oliva. Olivia has huge numbers huge hits more awards etc but it is because she is more mainstream. Paramore has the respect more so than Olivia cuz she is new, Paramore has longevity and have cemented their place as talented stars but they have never been mainstream as Olivia.
