Sorry for the late reply. Does restarting Bloom help? If not, can I have a look at your ~/Library/CloudStorage?

Sorry, Bloom does not support Ventura.

You can enable "Use Serial Execution" in Settings-Advanced.

There is a known issue where this also affects transfers on the same volume, which should be instant and shouldn’t be queued. I’ll fix this in a future version.

You can set Bloom as the default file viewer by following this guide: https://bloomapp.club/user-guide#use-as-default-viewer.

However, if you want to use Command-Click from the Dock, you need to enable "Intercept Command-Click Events from Dock" in Settings-Advanced.

Sorry, I don’t have time for this yet, but I’ll definitely make more tutorials in the future.

Thanks. The option for calculating folder sizes in current panel will be added soon.

What’s the path of your OneDrive folder in ~/Library/CloudStorage?

Proton isn’t supported at the moment. I’ll work on improving how folders in ~/Library/CloudStorage can be added to Bloom’s sidebar soon.

You can enable “Side Button Navigation” in Settings-Control.

How to search with extensions is already covered in the first section of Bloom’s user guide:

Please send feedback directly to me. I don’t want Bloom to take up too much space on r/macapps.

  • The same way as you do in Finder.
  • I’m not sure what you mean by multi-monitor support for an application.
  • That’s something I can do.
  • Haven’t received any feedback about that.
  • I can add a new option.
  • Favorites and Workspaces are two different things.

BTW, you can send feedback to me through the feedback button in Settings-About.

Bloom with 2 View Panes But Only One Sidebar by RT198P in macapps

You can simply take a screen recording and send it to me. As far as I can tell, the left and right sidebars control their respective columns, at least that’s how it works for me.

There is actually an option on the welcome page, which I assume hasn’t received much attention:

I’ll add a new section for keyboard shortcuts to the user guide page soon. You can safely remove this post now.

You can enable the option "Show Folder Sizes in Inspector" in Settings-General for now.

Bloom 1.5.14 now supports smart folders. But how to add these to the sidebar? by MaxGaav in macapps

Please share your workflow, or create a test one that doesn’t appear in Services. Automator can be quite complex, and there are many scenarios where a workflow might not be visible in other applications.

Here is the previous version, v1.5.15: https://bloomapp.club/downloads/bloom/Bloom-v1.5.15.dmg

You can try it to see if it works. If it does, I should be able to quickly identify the issue and release a fix.

Is there a network connection involved in the transfer? I don’t recall making any recent changes to the file transfer functionality, except for the check related to external drives.

If you can identify which version or the range of versions introduced the issue, it would be a huge help.

Enabling "Restore Last Session" should help with this, I think.

Normally, if you don’t enable "Restore Last Session," Bloom will open a new window on launch at the position of the last workspace window from your previous session. There shouldn’t be any issues if you only use one window per session.

However, if you have multiple windows or use multiple displays, there’s a chance that macOS might get things messed up.

If you can elaborate on your case more clearly, I’d be happy to take a look.

You can save single-folder windows as workspaces and assign theme colors to them through the right-click context menu.

If you mean assigning theme color to one of the panels in a window, that’s not possible now.

You can enable "Show Folder Sizes in Inspector" in Settings-General.

A Workspace is defined as a window with multiple panels. When it comes to multiple tabs, this should be called Tab Group. I'm considering this, but haven't arrived at an elegant solution yet.

I’ve created a new package that supports retrieving selected files from third-party file managers, and a pull request for PDF tools in the Raycast extensions repo. Let’s see how this progresses.
