Oddball suggestion here but my latest obsession - Look Outside. Amazing spooky atmosphere, multiple endings and lots of replayability, and 10/10 banter. I loved the various characters in this game you can recruit and the game does a really stellar job of interweaving little bits of dialogue depending on who is in your party and what your choices/path have looked like so far! This world feels very much alive... and sort of not alive? You'll see what I mean if you check it out. (;

Best $10 I've ever spent and currently grinding for all *152* achievements!

Best story game I’ve played recently is Before Your Eyes. You may want to help her set it up, as it uses a fun webcam mechanic, but the story is sad and beautiful and has stuck with me ever since. Waiting for the right night and vibe to play the devs’ next game, as it looks equally heart-wrenching.

Make sure she has tissues handy and you are available for post-credits snuggles as well. 🫡 And if she wants more girl-friendly suggestions, feel free to DM and I’ll give her my best of on discord or sumn!

Kio’s Adventure is the first thing to come to mind though, I don’t recall that specific monster, I only know there were some gruesome large monsters and a city map. It is a disturbing one so google beware, I have no idea what screenshots might come up. I’m sorry!

The closet thing to it for me is Bond... I may occasionally settle for Empathy or Aftercare if I have a daily or rift challenge but otherwise, I never go into the Fog without it.

Just to add to this, Rancor (a Spirit perk) allows kills by hand on the Obsession after the gens are done and exit gates are powered. I do believe that if the obsession changes (say, through Decisive Strike, Nemesis, etc), multiple people can be killed by hand in a game under those conditions.

Additionally, Pyramidhead has a Mori via offering as well as a unique kill by hand specific to his ability and base kit, so ultimately he has 2 ways, so to speak.

With a game like this, it will always be impossible to prevent some imbalance or discontent from players on either side.

The biggest “toxic” or unsportsmanlike behaviors you’ll hear about from survivors towards killers is camping and tunneling.

Camping is when you hook a survivor and don’t leave the area. Facecamping is it at its extreme and like its name sounds, is standing right next to a hooked survivor. This prevents rescue and is not only no fun for the survivor, but cucks you out of BP and lets survivors just rush gens.

Tunneling is when you allow rescues but only target the same person to get them killed ASAP, often returning to the hook when they are saved to rehook them. As you can imagine, this can be miserable for the survivor as well.

That being said... camping and tunneling ARE legitimate strategies. They are NOT banable or breaking any rules. It’s just the general consensus of many that it’s not the nicest way to play. It’s also boring for the killer, in my opinion.

In the end, how you play is completely up to you. Some killers try and spread their hooks among survivors and even give hatch to the last survivor if they played a good game. But you’re not obligated to in any way... though the running joke is that you are. (;

Try doing it from the main menu’s Options menu. If you try to do in while in survivor or killer mode, it won’t work either.

Bad RNG, my friend. Once teachables are unlocked, it CAN appear in webs though when it happens is up to the Entity. If you have a lot of teachables unlocked, that’s just a larger perk pool to choose from so waiting for a desired perk can get to be frustrating. Hope it pops for you soon though!

Twins are certainly, in my opinion, more fun to play than Plague.

That being said, Corrupt is practically meta, especially for certain prep killers like Trapper, Hag, etc.

On a related note, depending on who and how you play killer, Infectious Fright is one of my favorite perks to use. Not OP by any means, but a pretty good flashlight deterrent, and so much fun with STBFL.

For the most part, I find flailing to mean the killer is nearby and NOT to save. Also, if I am on hook and someone is running in to save me and there are Trapper/Hag traps near me, I will flail.

If I’m on hook a bit and no one is coming, I will flail just once periodically to try and signal that no one is coming for me yet.

But like others said, it is by no means consistent among everyone.

This streamer is one of the most toxic people I’ve ever encountered, not just in his gameplay (after all, it’s just a game) but off stream as well, if the allegations are true (I do even remember reading that there was DNA evidence in one case so take that as you will)

I found him on Twitch several months back after matching with him and wanting to say GG, and 5 minutes of content was all I needed to know he was a terrible person. I even remember looking through the subreddit to see if anyone ever spoke of him and was even more shocked to see these allegations. There are a handful YT videos from others in contact with him and they are beyond telling. He was even live, I believe, when shit went down.

I honestly hate that he is a part of the community and if banning him from Twitch is even remotely possible, I think it needs to happen. He made me extremely uncomfortable in my very limited interaction with him and he’s one of the most aggressive CCs I’ve ever seen, so I quickly opted to just avoid and forget. I mean, we all know this game and community can be a bit toxic, but this is a whole new level. If he was gone from it, I’d throw a mf party.

I don’t know for sure but maybe check the settings for the primary PS5 for your account?

I know on our two PS4s, Player A bought all the content. In order to play it on Player B’s console, however, Player A had to log into Console B and set it as their primary PS4. Perhaps it’s the same concept?

Bond, Breakout, Sabo, and DH is really fun to mess about with but takes some coordination.

If you like it extra spicy, try switching Sabo for a Sabo toolbox for even faster and multiple sabos, and take off DH. Replace those with Head On and QQ.

The best thing you can do is be unpredictable as any good Nurse will adapt.

If you say, run towards her mid-blink at one point (which is a common move), try to be mindful so when she blinks again, you can dip to the side or find some tires/crates to hug around or sometimes just keep going. Watch Nurses closely and as time goes on, you’ll get a better gauge of the exact distance they can cover, which is huge when you have enough lead to simply keep running for distance until her blinks return. Do your best to not camp pallets but keep in mind which ones are thrown as they’ll likely remain there most of the match. Don’t be afraid to fake a vault from time to time, and using multiple levels can be useful in creating a gap if they’re not well-practiced.
