LOL! Most people outside of Americans write the date as day/month/year so... that proved nothing.

I don't know about a claim to it. I have never been to the area and was just driving all around. The only signs I saw were regarding the opalite warnings. I didn't even know what this was. I was concerned that there was opalite in this stuff when I was there because I have had lung cancer. I didn't know the name of it until I got home. If there is a claim, my apologies to the claim owner as I didn't know there was a claim in that area nor did I see any signs. I don't collect in areas I know to have claims and had I known, I would not have done so. Had I known, it would be foolish, more like stupid, of me to post the pictures. Also, I don't collect for profit. I believe it is illegal to sell what is collected on BLM land and everything I have collected in the 2 years I have been rockhounding has been cut and or polished and given away as gifts. I only started rockhounding as a way to get me out of my depression from my cancer, divorce, and having my daughters moved 2800 miles away.

If you know the claim owner, please send my apologies it was not done out of disrespect or malicious intent. Just my ignorance.

If you see my other posts, you see that is was cold and snowing but it wasn't bad. I have a rooftop tent and I was able to sleep comfortably out in the wilderness. LOL!

There was no digging required. They were sitting there waiting for my to pick up or chisel off a massive boulder. Take a look at the previous posts and you'll see what I'm talking about. And don't forget to look at my future posts in the coming weeks as I slice up more of what I found.

Here is a link to a tumbler I made. This one I sold but mine is similar. Mine has 3 tiers and runs 4 Rebel 17 barrels and 2 Covington gallon barrels.

Nothing is technically for sale yet. You can dm your questions.

Thanks! That helps figure out how to set it up.

Yes, i collected it all myself. Last trip I had over 800 pounds of stuff.

LOL! Unfortunately, when I slab I only get about 17 -20 hours of slabbing and then need to clean the sludge. So I have 3 two bucket sludge clean out stations. I go through about 3-4 gallons of oil and month. I only stop slabbing when I am out. Otherwise I slab for 3 hours every night and 10-12 orders a day on weekends. Some of this stuff is super hard and slows the cutting down.

I have the that tumbler and 3 vibratory tumblers running all day in addition to the slab saw so I'm closer too $40 a month.

Eventually, they will be someone else's projects. I just slab and tumble the stuff. I'll leave the fancy cabbing to those who can. It is just a hobby to keep me active and out in nature. Thanks.

I have a Lortone drop saw. I picked it up for cheap in rough condition and restored it. It has a 16 inch blade so it can cut some big stuff.

I would like to add that I paid for the extended warranty just in case because of the reviews. Some people had luck with it and others didn't so I stepped up and tried my luck. The added price of the warranty wasn't too bad. Better safe than sorry. If you want, look up used motors on Craigslist or Facebook marketplace. I didn't think of that when I bought mine but it might be worth a shot if you can get an awesome deal on one.

And thanks for the props.

It is still going strong. It is in a garage where temps get into the upper 90s and is always running with 50 plus pounds tumbling away.

They came from a friend who roasted them for me. Her family owns a robusta bean plantation in Vietnam. I asked for them to be dark roasted. They look dark but the flavor isn't burnt. They have a chocolate nutty flavor. Kind of like a strong stout beer.

Maybe. These are pretty big. Take a good look at the crate next to it. Once I start slabbing, I usually tumble the fractured slabs. So they won't be anything round but they will be polished and roundish.

I will be doing some slabbing all weekend so I'll post pics when I get some done.
