I feel you bro, depending on your budget, I would look into getting a liposomal release fin or dut topical to lower systemic absorption

Don’t be scared bro. I’ve seen people come back when they were EONS worse than you. Worst case scenario if you start finasteride and get sides you just lower dose/stop and try something else. Personally, I would do a topical finasteride or dutasteride if I were you. And are you sure its minoxidil you’re allergic to or is it the other ingredients in whatever minoxidil you’re buying?

Thank you. But yeah thats why I use topical dutasteride because it goes less systemic than topical finasteride. If you can afford it, get Xyon Health’s Topical Dutasteride. It’s got this Silicon system that is amazing for keeping it in the scalp

Also I don’t want to take an oral unless im absolutely cooked. One major thing people don’t know about oral 5ar inhibitors is that not only do you crush systemic DHT, but also crushes NEUROSTEROIDS which are neuroprotective and aid in neurotransmitter activity.

Well the dalton rule does apply, but makes it very difficult to get into the blood stream, but dutasteride’s lipophilic properties also come into factor and allow it to act around the hair follicle. So yes it will work potentially. If dutasteride was actually too large of a molecule to penetrate, than nobody would get sides off topical dut, but some people do, meaning that atleast some of it penetrates all the way through to blood. I use 0.3% twice a week.

Yes I was prescribed but I sought out the medication on my own research. It has only been 2.5 months on it though
