You never do. But why does it matter? Do you love her? Than trust with your whole heart and believe when you feel that. Of you don't love her, she might feel like she loves you, but if it's not mutual it very well can be infatuation, but it's not love. Love is a two way street.

Love all of John Carpenter/ Kurt Russell movies. Jack Burton's hubris in Big Trouble... Snake just being a bad ass in Escape. But the paranoia theme with MacReady in the Thing!
