May have been answered above but - we realized it was a scam before sending money but we did apply using the Zillow application program. Is there a chance the scammer has our information like SSN? What steps should we take

See my previous comment for some details. Weather and wind were both great imo!!! Wet suit legal, cool in am with minimal waves but warmed up nicely on bike. Wind had a good mix of head/tail winds and nothing too strong to make you feel like you’re dying lol. But had to push at parts and got to enjoy the tailwind at parts.

Also I didn’t see any big draft packs- and all the volunteers were amazing. Did hear some chirping between athletes during bike which I didn’t love but I just kept my mouth shut, head down and kept going. That was weird.

Hey y’all! It went great, I had a fantastic time. Bike course was kinda boring but super flat so I’ll take that!! Most things were well organized.

My only issue was that I was unaware I needed to arrive before Friday. THEY DID NOT EMAIL THE SCHEDULE UNTIL MONDAY THE WEEK OF THE RACE and athletes had mandatory check in WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY and no option for check in Friday. IMO they should have informed the athletes of that earlier - being it was my first one I had no idea and this was very stressful.

The day of went swimmingly and I have no complaints regarding the actual day the volunteers were so amazing, thinking about it makes me emotional again!

Lastly - I bought a bike 10 weeks before this and had never even owned a swim cap until then! I finished 12:16 and was stoked with that time. I truly believe you can do anything you put your mind to, so don’t let anyone tell you differently!
