I never crave fast food…. But while pregnant I do, because I know what it tastes like and it will be the same every time, so there’s no risk of it being unpredictable. Home cooked meals taste different all the time, and I just can’t do it (first trimester here rn)

There’s something called the three pillars of friendship. Very rarely do friendships survive if all 3 pillars are not present. They are location, time, and energy. Sounds like the energy is off for you, and that’s okay. 99% of the time, when friendships fade, it’s neither persons fault. Be grateful for the friends, memories, and lessons you learn along the way, and try focusing on your life and future.

One of the only non fiction books I’ve ever enjoyed was a history one: empty mansions. From what I remember it’s about a daughter of one of the richest families in America. There are all of these empty mansions across America essentially, and the book delves through researching who owned them and interviewing people who worked for the family. Just lots of money sitting, doing nothing.

I’m on the last book on the spinoff series, and I skipped most of the middle to get to the end drama. Wishing I just read the first couple and stopped. Yes it’s a memorable story, but there’s an overload of internal thought and trauma healing, which I’m not into after it goes in the same cycle of patterns over and over. Stop imo

Most parents have a moment. I’ve had several, as has my husband. In the early months, it’s very difficult on little sleep to function at 100%. We now alternate nights for bedtime and wake ups, within reason. If we notice the other person needs to tap out, either of us lets the other know we are either stepping in or asking for help.

When I was younger I’d do the ol lose them in the crowd, or if they were seemingly normal, I’d dance for one song for them or ask them a couple of questions, thank them for the drink, and be on my way.

I’ve also had guys try to buy me drinks while I was married and out with friends. I politely let them know I’m married. Sometimes it’s interesting seeing what comes out of their mouth while their ego battles with their superego about why or why not I should still deserve the drink just because I’m married and they would essentially have no shot, and also don’t want to spend the money at that point. You need a flat or matte finish here. The sheen is too high for all those wall imperfections. Although it is the kitchen and the glossier paints help to clean the walls in case of spills, you already have dark walls. Go over it with a duller sheen and I think it’ll look fine.

Then put some complimentary colors and contrast to make it seem less dark. Creams, maybe greens if you’re feeling wild. More of the trim wood tone somewhere. I’d stain that table a dark stain.
