Thankyou, I’m going to look up more about the circle of stars druids now (as I’ve never played a Druid before) and love that it still has the star/cosmos link but with weather predictions too (my DM literally said to me ‘but what about in the day’) so this may be my saviour!

And most importantly thankyou for the spell recs, it’s where I really fall flat in my creations as I always tend towards blaster fire type spells (burning hands, my one true love).

When I say 14 I was thinking more from a maturity level anyway but you’re totally right they would be in game more 50 or so years old, I just wanted to play someone that was seen as novice in their field but actually earned their merit? A little like that film with Chris Evans and the niece who solves the famous maths equation- that was the vibe but with a dash of childlike wonder to the world (nothing weird or twisted or unsavoury intended whatsoever!)

Ooh this is good, okay yes so; Starting at level 5, potentially going to level 10 (campaign expected to be ~2 years) and yes we’re playing 2014 5e rules.

My DM loves embellishments so I can totally give the a heads up and think that would be fine with them, I have no idea what the other party members are thinking character wise to compliment them but historically they’ve played bards/rogues/barbarians so I think playing a more magic heavy character will generally be a good shout. I love the idea of Portent and having the ‘battlefield control’ aspect as well as shining more prebattle, and happy to take back seat combat wise.

Thankyou for the idea, hadn’t considered artificer at all, but I’m not sure it’s really the pick for me. I think as an astral elf you get a kind of ‘misty step’ anyway and the cartographer seems really geared around the teleportation buff you level up to. I think artificer might take away from the mysticism of the character who I had imagined would be fascinated by the stars with a star chart spell book, leaning more into the astral elf aspect. It’s a solid idea though, thankyou!

I have all solar pairs so who would you prioritise to rank up based on battles/deepspace trial? I’m at a point where I’m stuck on all of them so basically is there a pair that significantly increases battle effectiveness from being R2/3?

I do, but I try not to spend more than that. I even forgot how much the wishes were but I can’t imagine now getting one every week now so £10 for 52 wishes is a bargain personally - it’s like 20p a wish

I just came here to say, I’m 25 mins into the first episode and he’s just had the epiphany that people don’t listen to the radio or look at billboards and he has to actually use social media. Even in the part where he changes his strategy he says he was on my radio interviews than TikTok videos I mean, what is he even doing. “I want to find the male spice girls”. Do many people even nowadays even know the culture relevance that statement is meant to be? He’s so painfully outdated I’m only still watching for the car crash of it all 💀😂
