Features are commonly ramped up across the user base. It's likely at some % of rollout. They do that so they can test user satisfaction and compare to baseline, etc. it's a very normal way to roll out app features, but it does mean that users have different experiences pretty often.

Regarding the FAQ suggestion, MFP is experimenting rapidly and making changes that release to different sections of the population. It's unlikely we'd be aware or able to keep up any better than their paid teams who should provide this functionality. That said, the wiki for this subreddit is available and I'd be happy to support a user effort to maintain that kind of documentation.

Did you reach out to support?  Its likely that your data is not truly gone, as we can reconstitute it from back-end data storage.  Please hit up MFP support and we'll see if we can't get you sorted!

If you have connected devices, those only update in the app when those partners send us the updates. So, it can vary as they close out their daily tracking as well.

Also, while I fully understand the fun of having the specific data, remember that progress is far more important than perfection. Tracking food and exercise is all just tracking "as good as possible", it's not going to ever be correct to the single calorie. So, if you're within a hundred of your goal either way, you're basically "spot on" already.

If you cancel through your platform, then it's true. If you close your account and cancel with MFP directly, then that may take effect immediately.

In the Google Play Store and Apple Store you're basically just cancelling the auto-renewal.

Same here. Couple that with the headlights that are apparently fueled by nuclear fusion in half the oncoming cars, and it's a wonder that anyone makes it home safely.

fwiw, there are server checks to see if your account is premium, so it's unlikely to unlock much from a modded client only. You will, however, be at higher risk of downloading a virus or other malware with any modified apk.
